Soccer Tour
- Munich is home of two soccer clubs: world famous FC Bayern (the reds) and lesser known TSV 1860 (the blues). In 2006 Munich hosted the soccer world cup. On our soccer tour we hear all about soccer heroes like Franz Beckenbauer and visit the Allianz Arena, one of the most modern soccer stadiums of the world. Due to the length of this tour (app. 35-40 km), physical fitness is required. Of course, this tour is also available by bus.
IsarTour
- Join us on this 3-hour-tour along the banks of the river Isar, from Englischer Garten to Floßlände (arrival port of rafts) you will hear stories of the rivers’ role in the past and the present. We also take a closer look to the special project “renaturation”.
"Munich was shining"
- 19th century Munich was a Mecca for young and upcoming poets, painters, bohemians, philosophers and the like. The arty community gathered in the village of Schwabing, and soon took over this quarter of town. Soon Schwabing was known for its wild parties and its decadence. Typical products of Schwabing in this interesting period of time were Art Noveau (Jugendstil) and artists like Wassiliy Kandinsky, Franz Marc or Thomas Mann.
Giesing Tour
- Giesing is a neighbourhood with its own character, which we are going to explore by bike on this tour.
From a farming village Giesing transformed to a workers’ district and eventually developed into a popular residential area. Even though the notorious trendy hustle and bustle is arriving in the quarter, Giesing has (still) maintained its originiality.
